RFI & Submittal standardization:

  • RFI Statuses - We have added a new status for RFIs module; there are now a total of 5 statuses Draft, Stored, Sent, Responded & Commented.

  • Submittals Statuses - We have changed these statuses to improve standardization;  there are now a total of 5 statuses Draft, Stored, Sent, Responded & Commented.

  • Both RFI & Submittals now received responses and can record the difference between a response from an email and a comment record from inside TriBuild CM.

  • Custom Documentation - We are moving to standardize the layout and the data collected.

RFI Enhancement:

  • RFI Status - Commented - Is a new status which identifies when a recipient has logged in a response through the email function (Responded), when a response is logged into the RFI module by an internal user the status will be Commented.

  • Activity Items - We have removed the Specification drop down menu and replaced it with a new tab.  This tab will allow the user the ability to add multiple items from the Activity Log.  We now display the related submittal numbers, submittal document status, and comments for the line item on that submittal.

Submittal Enhancement:

  • Submittal Responses - We now allow responses to be recorded to submittal documents.  These responses can be recorded per submittal document in a submittal package.  The Submittal Cycle History log is where a user can view past submittal document responses/comments. This is required to change the Submittal Statuses; there are 5 statuses Draft, Stored, Sent, Responded and Commented.

  • Action Required List - Has been removed from the Submittal Details tab.  The Action Required list is now located under the Terms and Conditions tab.  This new tab allows users the ability to modify our predefined items as well as add as many new line items needed.

Manage Templates:

  • We have standardized the templates for RFIs and Submittals, these new template layouts will be carried out to all documentation.  We are separating the Manage Templates into 2 sections.

Templates Version 2.0 will be the new home for all new custom template formats, modules which now look at the new template versions will not be allowed to use the older template versions.

Modules which do not have the new template layouts will still use the Current Templates.  Modules which are using the new Template layouts will still have their Current Templates available.  Users will be able to copy the current templates and paste the information into one of our new layouts.

Enhancements and Fixes:

  • RFI and Submittal CC contacts now appear at the bottom right hand corner of the documents

  • Submittal Terms and Conditions now appear on the printed document

  • RFI Responses now have a save button which does not email any alerts
