Rarely does a project up for Bidding stay the course with the original documents without changes, these changes are called 'Addendums'. Addendums document information attached or added to clarify, modify, or support the information in the original document or written scope of work. In the construction industry, for example, an addendum issued by a client during the bidding process becomes part of the contract documents when the contract is awarded.
Bid Revisions can be assigned to an existing Invitation to Bid document, and the original contacts from that document are carried over for the 'TO' field.
The Terms and Conditions tab allows the user to add/edit specific comments they need to have appear on the Bid Revision document.
The Document tab allows the user to modify the existing default template on the fly (any changes to the default document will not be saved), or then user can create their own custom verbiage template.
