The Library is a document storage module for each project created in TriBuild CM. It's a great tool for the organization and distribution of files that added to the project, such as drawings and photos and other documentation received on a project.
Library features:
Create and manage categories (folders) to organize uploaded files
Document preview and thumbnails available for most file types.
Batch upload of files into
Add a description to each file added
Change files name of uploaded files
Link files to documents created in TBCM
Track who uploads and downloads files
Timestamp of when files were uploaded and modified
Timestamp of when files are downloaded
TriBuild CM is not a file writing system, we just storage the files in the format that they were uploaded. If a user is trying to open a pdf file, but does not have a pdf viewer application, they will not be able to open the files.
